ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Electrical Engineering is one of the best and largest growing fields which generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics & electromagnetism. The department of electrical engineering was established in the year 2009 with an objective to develop professional’s skills through quality education. Department has team of dedicated and experienced faculty members. Department has good association with predominant persons – both from academics and industry.
For students to develop into skilled researchers they must enjoy the work that they do and that the atmosphere must be conducive; therefore, a number of faculty members are available for counseling to the students. Students are also supported by a departmental academic mentorship program.
Our main focus is to impart knowledge with innovative ideas to the students in the teaching-learning process. In the teaching-learning process, the students are given assignments and are made to work out exercise problems to equip themselves for the examination which is done apart from the tests series.
The department has good infrastructural facilities and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories such as fundamental of electrical lab, electrical machines lab- i and ii, power electronics lab, electrical measurements lab. The department also has audio visual facilities with LCD projector for effective teaching.
